I’m not even going to try to come up with a title for this.

I’ve survived two whole weeks now at my new job without getting fired, so I’m celebrating right now by ignoring the mountain of housework and eating some chocolate filled with vodka that one of my co-workers brought back from her recent trip to Russia. I don’t really like chocolate, and this is particularly awful – but hey, it’s vodka. I’m also watching Gone with the wind for the first time. That Scarlett likes to slap people’s faces, doesn’t she? I like it! I may start doing that randomly.
Earlier today I put on my low-cut Cavalli dress, did my hair and sang at Super Mortens wedding. He assured me my hair looked great. And that he was pleasantly surprised by my singing. I’m sure he meant that in a good way. That’s one down and two to go this summer. Annoyingly enough, none of the happy couples want the same songs, so I’ll have to practice and stuff. I never practice. But the upside is that they don’t know each other, so I can wear the same dress to each wedding. You have no idea just how much time that saves me.
You see, when you’re sick eight months out of ten when you’re pregnant (don’t let them tell you it’s nine, it’s TEN MONTHS) you have a lot of time to shop for dresses online. And now I have four dresses in my closet that I’ve never worn once but don’t fit into the wedding category. Especially if you’re singing and don’t want people to look at you instead of the bride. Or, you know, you want them to, but you don’t want to look like you want them to. You know.
And now I don’t even know how to finish this post. So there.

FIRST!!1!
SECOND SECOND
I’m happily ignoring housework and drinking a Peroni.
Bilde? Av kjolene? Så vanskelig å forestille seg uten…
Yeah you don’t want to be looking too good or the bride will hate you forever. Some badly applied make-up making your face look lopsided always does the trick.
Anyway, glad it went well at Mortys wedding.
I’m ready to be slapped my friend;)
And by the way: You just can’t help looking better than the bride no matter what you wear…so just wear those freakin’ dresses!!!
Love ya to pieces: Smask!
Hjelpe oss?
Yay! I’m certain you both looked and sounded fab at Mr. Morton’s wedding!
I hope your blog likes me better today.
I’ve only seen Gone With the Wind once and that was in Spain and it was dubbed in Spanish. It was comical – I was still learning Spanish so didn’t get too much of it. Never had any desire to see it again.
I think unfinished, non-titled posts from non-chocolate-loving vokda-swilling singers with 4 unworn dresses in their closets are The Best Posts In The World!

Hi,
this is the first time I have come to your site and your post pulled me. I guess I was curious as to your title used.
About not being fired yet, you had me laughing about that. You seem so surprised and all. Some chocolates are nice and others are not, but chocolates with alcohol are always nice and strong no matter what type of alcohol.
Singing at weddings, my sister sang at mine and it was her gift for the wedding and one that I will never forget. Couples never like the same song, different strokes for different folks

This is my first time here and I have to say I like the writing style, it’s not often that someone can make me laugh at 2am. You have a new subscriber
Glad to hear that, I think you you will do a great job at your new work!
And yeah.. I know that women suffer from 10 month pregnancy it’s not 9

Aah, sounds good
Sadly, ignoring housework just means I’ll have to do it tonight. Sigh.
Ah, so THAT’s why your face always looks so awful, you’re doing it on purpose to make the rest of us feel better! How gracious of you.
Aw, you’re the nicest
I’ll start slapping away the next time I see you! Love
Jeg har TO BØKER med gode forslag
We’ll talk.
Thanks, honey
Yay! And I didn’t even have to approve it! You’re officially back with the “in” – crowd. How does it feel?
LOL, actually I’m thinking the Spanish version would be more entertaining! It’s definitely LONG. I’ve gotten so used to today’s fast-paced movies that old movies like this one just get a little boring – I have to do something else while I watch it. But at least now I can say that I’ve seen it! You know, as soon as I actually get around to finish it.
George: Thanks for coming by!
How lovely that your sister sang at your wedding! That sounds like a wonderful gift
And it’s true, sometimes a song will speak to us in a special way, that’s why I love music so much.
Jannie: LOL, what an AWESOME and very accurate comment
Just wait, I’m sure more of my incoherent, unfinished ramblings are to come.
Hello Extreme John; thank you! I’m glad I amuse you
Thanks for coming by!
Thanks, Hesham!
