The Gallery: Togetherness
Posted by Adrenalynn on 16 February 2011
My boys are two years apart and the best of friends.
They share a bedroom. They play with their cars together every morning and every afternoon. They whisper and sneak around on Saturday mornings when they know they’ve woken up too early. They go everywhere and do everything together. They fight passionately. They care deeply about one another. They comfort each other. They help each other. They stick together.
My boys face the world together.
The prompt for The Gallery this week is Togetherness. To me, this is togetherness.
Please stop by the fabulous Tara at Sticky Fingers to check out the other entries this week!

Great picture!
Thanks, Jarle! That really IS a nice view…
Love the view!! (and rainbow!)
Now…the helmet?? Is that for one of those "passionate fights"?!?! (maybe that's what I need to give to my two boys…who also have those moments of fighting!)
Lance; I have kids who will gladly wear their helmets around everywhere. Yes, I have THOSE kids. The ones you look at and think "where are their parents?!" They will also wear shorts with wellies and a rain coat any day. The helmets do come in handy for the passionate fights, though, so I freely admit to encouraging them
Love it. x
Hi Wendy; thank you very much!
Wow, what a breathtaking view for them to share!
wonderful photo, lovely words
Hi Gemma; thank you very much
That photo is amazing! I have visions of you yelling to the boys "quick quick get outside RIGHT NOW and look at that rainbow, mummy wants to take a photo!"
Tara; I'm pretty sure that's exactly how it happened!
They simply are the cutest boys ever!
Charlie dear; they are! Strictly subjectively speaking, of course…
Amazing photo and wonderful words describing the most special of bonds x
Hi Willest
Thanks! It really is the most special of bonds – I have tremendous respect for their relationship, and it touches me greatly!
What a lovely picture. The boys are so lucky to have each other. What a wonderful view, and the rain makes it so. Viva la rain!
Hi Lins, thank you so much. They are truly lucky, and I hope they continue to realize that as they grow older! Viva la rain, indeed!!
That is a beautiful photo – and a beautiful relationship. I'll bet they'll always be close.
Hi Lynn; I really hope they will! It's so touching to see how close they are.
You must be a good mom! most kids at that age usually fight but yours as you told love each other and even treated each other as best friends. Howd’d you do that?
