Because my life just continues to be awesome.Fordi mitt liv bare fortsetter å være fantastisk.

The great thing about this week was that it consisted of only two work days, as my little three-day vacation ended on Wednesday. And then all hell broke loose. Fabulous stuff that happened to me in the last two days include but are not limited to the following:
- My eldest kid getting sick (with, um – Wikipedia calls it Impetigo) on the day I went back to work.
- And then my car broke down. Again.
- Which meant that we had to drive the kids to the sitter the next morning in my husband’s car.
- Which isn’t exactly all that legal to drive.
- But luckily we’re probably getting the garage to fix my car for free because of the guarantee on their previous work on the exact same thing.
- Except they’re closed for the whole summer.
- But they were nice enough to loan us a car!
- With a non-functioning speedometer.
- Is that even legal?
- But it’s not as if we’re going anywhere this weekend anyway.
- With my kid being full of Impetigo and all.
- Which makes it even more awesome that the kids decided to wake up at 6 this morning, you know, because it’s Saturday.
- But I’ve got the blinds closed so I almost can’t see the gorgeous weather outside.
- I can’t wait for Monday.

Bullous impetigo or non-bullour impetigo?? It’s a world of difference…
Oh boy. And why is it that I can not get my kid up when she HAS to be up but on the weekends she is up really early?

Impetigo always reminds me of potato.
Car troubles suck. I’ve had enough car troubles to last me a few lifetimes.
You don’t realize how much you use the speedometer until it doesn’t work.
I like the fact I get a fresh start each week. I like a fresh start each day and each month, too.

I am enjoying the word that tells about ‘History repeats itself’ and this is didicated to your car

And Monday it is – are things better now?
My broher used to get impetago a lot, but it cleared up eventually.
Oh joy, oh bliss.
Come to Austin, my hubby will fix you up with a nice little used Civic or Corolla.
Big Hugs!

Eeeek sorry to hear that everything turned to crap after your vacation.
I can report that it is Monday and I had a nightmare of a day, I can’t wait until next Monday.

[...] may remember how much last weekend sucked. Or you may not remember, because it was so long ago. Yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, last weekend [...]
Hi Jarle; you are truly back in shape. And how in the world would I know? I’m just the mother, I don’t LOOK at the icky stuff. You’re the only person who actually clicks on those links, you know.
Hi Kim; I know! I have to wake the kids up at 7 on weekdays. And now I kinda want to go to bed already at 9 PM on a Saturday. Darned kids…
Hi Ingalill; thank you so much for your sincere empathy. You know, I do get up before 6 on weekdays, just so you know. You know?
Hi Jlo; thanks for coming by!
You welcome.. I didn’t know. But I do feel sorry for you..
Hi Ingalill! You are the 1000th commenter, congratulations! How does it feel? I know, it’s all so overwhelming. You may want to breathe into a bag for a few minutes.
Hi Darren; yes, I fully intend to get a fresh start this week! Which is why I’m up at 6:30 answering comments.
Thank you for coming by!
Hi J.D; I like the idea of getting a fresh start every day! And I surprisingly enough I feel like I have a pretty good feel of the car’s speed even without the speedometer. Of course, I can’t be sure if it’s correct
Hi Hicham; LOL
I’ll remember that for the next time my car decides to get cheeky!
Hi Jannie; The week actually turned out pretty great! Thanks for the hug
Hi Extreme John; I hope your week got better! Mine did
Wow! The 1000th comment?! *breathing in, breathing out* it’s very overwhelming
